  1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Engineering.

  2. Familiar with painting or production process, knowledge in robot spray equipment and painting related facilities.

  3. Proficient in the use of personal computers to perform daily work. Familiar with Autocad or Solidwork.

  4. At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position but fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

  5. Working experience in an Automotive Industry would be added advantages.

  6. Able to speak Japanese language is an added advantage
  1. Understand assigned process area and associated equipment.

  2. Access and analyse current process to drive improvement projects for safety, Quality, Delivery and cost.

  3. Ensure processes are properly documented according to IATF and ISO standard as per requested by customers. Example, PFMEA, SPC, etc.

  4. Prepare, maintain and review process procedure (Operation Instruction) from time to time.

  5. Interact with quality team to correct, contain and resolve non-conformance.

  6. Perform Project Management for installation and start-up of new or upgrade machineries.

  7. Support new model / new product / new material introductions in coordination with other respective Section or parties.

  1. To support superior to identify and appoint suppliers based on Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) requirements.

  2. To support initial audit/survey to suppliers to ensure the suppliers meet QCD requirements.

  3. To issue RFQ to suppliers once receive Drawing and memo from Engineering Dept.

  4. To analyse parts price from suppliers based on Quotation Breakdown and to coordinate duty exemption if any.

  5. To issue LOI and Tooling agreement to suppliers upon receive LOI from customers.

  6. To ensure the parts are developed based on specific event timing to meet customer requirements.

  7. To develop parts to ensure the respective parts meet quality requirement prior to MP.

  8. To register suppliers into SAP System and to register parts price accordingly.

  9. To resource and consolidate suppliers to achieve economic of scales and to minimise the cost.

  10. To conduct cost reduction activities to suppliers and to plan for VA/VE activities.

  11. To support finance to ensure suppliers will get payment with specific payment terms.
